Course Highlights

Prerequisites

  • TDI Air Diluent Decompression or Helitrox Diluent Decompression certification
  • 50 rebreather hours over 50 logged dives on a specific unit (or 25 hours on the specific unit if 50 hours are logged on another TDI-recognized CCR)
  • Own your own rebreather unit

What You Learn

  • Conduct drills for managing off-board gas, including calculations and replacements.
  • Execute emergency drills for system failures, ensuring safe dive recovery.
  • Practice decompression protocols using helium diluent.
  • Perform surface marker buoy deployment and demonstrate control in adverse conditions

HOW TO BEGIN?

Self-Study

Choose between two self-study options: access the TDI eLearning® platform with a full course account or receive a course manual. Study at your own pace before arrival, ensuring you’re well-prepared. Once on-site, you’ll participate in a classroom session with your instructor to review the material and reinforce your knowledge, setting you up for successful hands-on training.

Self-Study time commitment: 14-16 hours

With Your Instructor

Engage in practical, hands-on training with your instructor. You’ll develop and refine essential skills, covering everything from equipment setup to advanced diving techniques. Your instructor will guide you through real-world scenarios, ensuring you’re fully prepared to dive independently. This immersive training builds your confidence and competence, equipping you to safely and efficiently explore the underwater world.
